Outfit of the Day: Making Waves
I’m in LOVE with this top. The minute I saw it, I knew I had to have it for my store. It incorporates a couple of my favorite Spring trends. I’m in love with the wavy, chevron stripes! I’m slightly obsessed with the pattern, much like everyone else. Haha. Not to mention, it’s in the color tangerine!! I was always so anti-orange tones when I was younger, but they’re just so bright and cheery. I’ve always wanted to be able to pull it off. I think this shade is really pretty on everyone, even us red heads!
I wore this to the Portlandia Tour show in Atlanta. It was really funny and awesome to be that close to people who I truly enjoy and find interesting. Not only was it neat to be near Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen, but they also brought Georgia locals Margret Cho and Jack McBrayer. I freaked! Not to mention, it was a gorgeous 75 degrees all day and 70 all night! Such a treat. I was so happy to have a chance to wear this outfit. We had to stand in the longest line I’ve ever seen outside of the venue, but luckily the weather was nice. I was also super comfy in my Torrid boots I bought recently! I’m in love with them! So comfortable and they fit my feet and calves perfectly. It’s so hard to find boots that fit wide calves, specially in a knee-high. These fit the bill pefectly. I can’t say enough nice things about them! I’m just going to go ahead and apologize in advance for them being in the majority of my OOTDs for the rest of winter! I got them in brown and black. Too cute not to!
