Plus Size Fall Trends.

I am a strong believer of “If it Fits WEAR THE HELL OUT OF IT!!!”

Here are some Summer —->transitioning into fall outfits that could really work given the trends that are brewing!

1. Adding Tights to anything makes it Fall.

2. Adding Booties to anything can make it fall.

3. Transitioning from Winter Spicy Colors to Fall Colors can be quite a hassle, but it doesn’t have to be dramatic for those who aren’t ready to give up Summer Essentials just yet.

Navy Midi Skirt
First off, I apologize for the photo quality today.  My camera died last night and I just needed to get some documentation of this outfit.  I went on a thrift store excursion this weekend and wanted to try some outfit ideas with this new-to-me navy pleated midi skirt.

I’m not completely sold on the length of the skirt.  While I know the midi-skirt thing is a trend right now, does it actually look good on me?  I’m not sure yet.  I’m also still learning what proportions to wear with this length.
Regardless - I love the gray/navy/burgundy color combo.

Commentary: It’s been getting chilly here, which means it’s time to start breaking out warmer clothing. Fall fashion is my favorite (alliteration is fun!), so I put this look together to go see Drive with my friend Mark. Call me simple, but I’m a sucker for soft and comfortable basics. However, I frequently run into the dilemma of feeling very plain or sloppy when wearing them. To help remedy some of that, I paired my plain, white tee with a navy cardigan, a shimmery/nude infinity scarf, and some tall suede boots. The look is still basic, but it’s thoughtful, and I think that’s the difference between looking messy and looking comfortable.
